Kula Fields Artisan’s Reserve | Maui Onion Fire Confit | Some Like it HOT!

Maui Onion Fire Confit

Do you know who made the Maui Onion famous?  Most folks don’t know this little know fact.  All they  know is that they LOVE to eat them in any form. Our  Maui Onion Fire Confit is a savory jam with just the right touch of sweetness and a medium heat from Hawaiian chili peppers. Perfect served with goat cheese and crackers, on top of the best burger and steaks, as a glaze for ham, or turn your grilled cheese up a notch.  Add a little spice to your life!  You can get yours in our Farmshop.  Frank Sinatra fell in love with the Maui Onion which he discovered while filming a movie here. He was known to rave about them where ever he went and would tell folks that they’ve never truly eaten an onion until they try a sweet onion from Maui.  Only onions grown in Kula can be labeled as Maui Onions.  Wish “Old Blue Eyes” were here to try our confit on his burger!
